below is the summary i wrote for our yahoo! group...
Around 3, people started arriving. Guess what the people did!
They watched Korean drama on channel U until 5... Some watched GTO
online... errmmm...
Then BBQ officially started! *woot* After starting fire, Jem, lame
queen n I went swimming, since having us there will only provide
dimishing marginal returns *means not efficient*. And I learned how
to swim free style! Q(^.^Q) We then went to jacuzzi to cook ourselves
in the super hot water. If you would imagine how hot it is, steam was
forming in the air resulting in a thick mist.
Meanwhile, the people sitting standing waiting around the fire
entertained themselves by cards and taking photos. Beloved Kenjiro_sama
and JingJing "voluntereed" to be the chefs. Your cooking was superb!
Hungry souls moaned and groaned for food, as the stupid fire died! We
even thought there was not enough food (30+ wings, 20 satays, 20
otahs, 4 pax cheese hotdog, some mushroom, sotong and prawn,
*anything else?* for 14 ppl), so must go Jalan Kayu settle dinner le.
Alex was even assigned to buy chips and marshmallow. However, the
food was so juz nice... Jem somehow had perfect calculation on the
food. Just a miscalculation on the dessert. The BIG watermelon was
presented but only 3/4 was eaten. The leftover rate was really
miraculous!
While eating, we had ourselves entertained by WS' signature lame
jokes, and also Mr Intellectual's. Then, it was quite late le, so everyone just
rushed home. It was a pity that stayover was cancelled due to
underwhelming response though.
